Why did I start writing here? Because I knew if I wanted to learn I would have to teach. This is simply my vehicle.
Why didn't I start before? Because I hadn't found my Why... yet.
I was reading an article about Larian Studios, the developers behind the highly successful Baulders Gate 3 video game, who had just announced they stopped working on any future Baulders Gate projects.
They canceled development on their most successful product line, a guaranteed cash cow, and they were "elated".
They had rediscovered their Why.
Always begin with Why and let your Why drive you.
Bonus: Your Why will change over time. Depending on Survival, Stability or Arete/Ikigai/Self-Actualization your Why may be different. That's OK. You may even lose your Why along the way. That is also OK. Rediscover your Why and always come back and start with Why.
